Good evening, and welcome to the Midwest Section of the Air & Waste Management Association's website brought to you from Kansas City.
The International
Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a non-profit technical, scientific and educational organization with more than 17,000 members in over 65 countries. Founded in 1907 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Association provides a forum where all viewpoints on environmental issues receive consideration.
The
Midwest Section of the Air & Waste Management Association is based in Kansas City, Missouri and serves the States of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska with the exception of the metropolitan St. Louis area which is served by the
Greater St. Louis Section. The Midwest Section is currently comprised of approximately 400 members and two Chapters: the
Iowa Chapter and the new Nebraska Chapter.
